About the role

Mane Haven, a leading five star hair salon in Mornington, VIC, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our dynamic team. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional hair services to our valued customers while also mentoring and developing our junior stylists.

What you'll be doing

  1. Delivering high-quality haircuts, colouring, and styling services to clients
  2. Providing expert hair analysis to recommend the most suitable treatments
  3. Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the hair and beauty industry
  4. Mentoring and training junior stylists to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  5. Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to ensure a safe and enjoyable client experience
  6. Actively contributing to the salon's overall success through exceptional customer service and a positive attitude

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified hairdresser, with a strong background in cutting, colouring, and styling
  2. An up-to-date knowledge of the latest hair trends, techniques, and products
  3. Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for making clients feel confident and beautiful
  4. A creative flair and the ability to tailor hairstyles to individual client needs
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and train junior stylists
