We are looking for a skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Roads Supervisor - Construction.
As the Supervisor, you will contribute to the effective and efficient execution of construction projects that enhance the infrastructure and overall well-being of our community. As a leader in the construction team, this position holds the responsibility of overseeing and coordinating construction and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing the Road Construction team, ensuring the efficient maintenance of the Council's Civil Infrastructure in accordance with established council standards.
- Coordinating and program the delivery of routine works in collaboration with the Manager including allocating resources required, plant & equipment and materials.
- Completing site and project risk assessments prior to commencing work onsite.
- Undertaking workplace safety audits and implementation of corrective actions within Councils standards.

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU
This role offers the opportunity for you to be part of a competent, high performance team, along with opportunities for ongoing training. We offer a salary starting at $81,541 to $104,379 gross per annum plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
