We have a current project that requires a Structural Engineer to be fully embedded within a key client office. In this role, you will assist the client with their heavy vehicle access management program to meet bridge asset management, analysis and assessment needs as required.

This Role Is Based On The Following Terms

• Offered as either a casual or fixed-term contract
• Working 40 hours per week
• With the requirement to be on-site at the client's Brisbane office

Main duties of the role

• Support the delivery of client bridge assessment activities
• Streamline and automate relevant business procedures
• Be a source of technical knowledge in the bridge asset management area
• Drives safety improvements across every aspect of project work, ensuring best practices are identified, applied, and advanced

Relevant Skills

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Must hold a CPEng and or RPEQ registrations
• 5+ years' experience in the related field
• Some structural and condition assessment/rating skills backed by sound knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Desirable to have some experience in structural design and/or structural assessment
• Great verbal / presentation communication skills
• Good experience in writing technical reports
• Must hold a valid Australian drivers licence
