Are you an experienced and passionate early childhood educator looking for a meaningful role in a supportive environment? Thornlands Play and Learn, a well-established early learning centre in the Thornlands community, is seeking a Experienced Educators to join our dedicated team.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth
  • Observing and documenting children's learning progress and sharing meaningful updates with families
  • Working collaboratively with a passionate team to ensure consistency in educational practices and philosophies
  • Maintaining accurate records and upholding all centre policies and regulatory requirements
  • Actively participating in professional learning to enhance your practice and contribute to our centre's continuous improvement
  • Planning and delivering high-quality, play-based educational programs tailored to each child's interests and developmental stage

What We're Looking For:

  • A Certificate 3, Diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education (or equivalent)
  • Availability between 6:15am – 6:15pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families and colleagues
  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and a commitment to child-led, play-based learning
  • Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management
  • A valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
