This role is vital to ensuring the efficiency and safety of their mechanical systems within a fast-paced, high-demand industrial facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and installations of mechanical systems and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in industrial machinery, control systems, and plant equipment.
• Test, inspect, and ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant industry standards.
• Minimize downtime by responding promptly to mechanical breakdowns and performing efficient repairs.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and recommend system improvements for enhanced performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize system uptime and productivity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

• Mechanical trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III)
• Proven experience as a maintenance fitter, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when necessary.
