Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Principal Engineer located in Sydney, NSW, with flexible work-from-home options. The Senior Principal Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing power systems analysis projects, providing strategic technical advice, overseeing project lifecycle phases, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role requires close collaboration with clients and stakeholders, detailed technical documentation, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in power systems analysis and strategic grid advice
  • Experience in the complete project lifecycle: pre-feasibility, construction, commissioning, and operational phases
  • Strong technical documentation and compliance with industry standards
  • Team collaboration and client/stakeholder management skills
  • Mentorship and leadership abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred
  • Prior experience in a senior engineering role within the power systems industry
