The key accountabilities of the Junior School Visual Arts Teacher are based on the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, and describe the Professional Knowledge, Practice, and Professional Engagement required at The Cathedral School and includes:

What You'll Bring

• A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood or Primary) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of visual arts curriculum from Kindy to Year 6.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to pastoral care and holistic student development.

• Salary of $36,920 for a 1st year teacher and $53,400 for a teacher with 8+ years teaching experience working a 0.4 FTE.

About the school

The Cathedral School of St Anne & St James located in Mundingburra is Townsville's only Independent Anglican School for boys and girls from Early Childhood to Year 12 and boarding students from Year 7 to 12.
