As an Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of infrastructure works across our substation projects. Working closely with project managers, supervisors and the rest of the Catalpa management team, you'll contribute to maintaining site compliance, ensuring engineering standards are met, and providing day-to-day support across multiple work fronts. Working between 2:1 and 3:1 rosters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and engineering support across substation and infrastructure works
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and reviewing site works to ensure they meet project specifications
  • Conduct inspections and ensure safety and quality standards are met
  • Support procurement and review of materials and equipment
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and compliance records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Engage in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities on site

What We're Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Civil or relevant discipline)
  • Previous experience in infrastructure or utilities projects (ideally remote or substation work)
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in a changing project environment and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project systems
  • Willingness to travel between sites as required
