Role Overview

As a 12d Designer, you'll be instrumental in driving accurate, efficient civil design models that underpin our major projects—from feasibility to documentation and construction supervision. You'll collaborate with engineers and project managers to bring Telford Civil's high standards to life across all design stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed civil engineering designs using 12d Model and AutoCAD, focusing on subdivisions, roadworks, stormwater, and associated infrastructure

  • Support all phases: conceptual design, feasibility studies, detailed design, contract documentation, and construction coordination

  • Ensure designs comply with Australian standards, local council regulations, and company quality systems

  • Manage and maintain design documentation, drawing registers, and project files

  • Produce long sections, cross sections, plans, and technical deliverables with high precision

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to streamline workflows and resolve design challenges

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience using 12d Model for civil design projects in Australia

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with stormwater, subdivision, and road infrastructure design

  • Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements and Australian Standards applicable to civil design

  • Excellent documentation, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills

  • Great teamwork and communication, with the ability to collaborate across departments effectively
