We're seeking a highly organised and strategic Master Scheduler to join our Major Projects Management Office (MPMO). In this pivotal role, you'll lead the implementation of scheduling and dependency management standards across major programs and projects, ensuring consistency, visibility, and alignment across the portfolio.

This role can be based anywhere within our operational footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scheduling and dependency processes, tools, and templates.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and other key stakeholders to coordinate the creation and maintenance of integrated master schedules for major projects and programs in Primavera P6.
  • Monitor and report on schedule governance, health checks, and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on project / program progress, risks, and issues to management committees.
  • Guide Project Managers on risks arising from interdependencies and support early identification of schedule slippages.
  • Map and track dependencies at project / program levels, including coordinating forums to increase visibility of cross-project dependencies.
  • Contribute to the development of performance scorecards, dashboards, and trackers.
  • Coaching and mentoring other team members in better practice uses of Primavera P6.

About You

You're a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in scheduling and project / program management. You thrive in complex environments and are passionate about driving consistency and excellence in project delivery.

Qualifications & Certifications

Required:

  • Advanced Diploma in Program Management, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Primavera P6 Fundamentals certificate.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in PMO, Portfolio, Program, or Project Management.
  • Primavera P6 Advanced certificate.

Experience

  • Experience in a Portfolio Management Office or similar function.
  • Proven ability to establish scheduling and dependency management standards on large scale projects.
  • Proficiency in Project Online, Primavera, and Power BI.
  • Strong background in project planning, resource and risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2, and PMBoK.

Skills

  • Advanced skills in Primavera P6.
  • Expertise in schedule governance standards, health metrics and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Effective communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder influence skills.
