Barista/ Wait Staff Wanted

Manoush and Co Padstow in south west Sydney is currently seeking a positive individual with excellent communication and barista skills to join our front of house area. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our customer's experience an enjoyable one. This role will include:

• Opening/closing the cafe
• Replenish items needed for operation purpose
• Setting up the Barista area
• Customer service such as answering questions regarding menu item
• Taking food and beverage order including hot drinks such as coffee
• Making Barista coffee
• Handling cashier and electronic payments from customers
• Clearing/cleaning tables
• Cleaning seating areas
• Cleaning dishes
• Sweeping and mopping floor
• Ordering stock

Successful candidates will possess the following attributes and skills:

• Able to prioritise job tasks within given time frame with a keen eye for detail
• Well presented, punctual positive and self-motivated
• Able to work unsupervised
• Food hygiene and handling knowledge
• Honest, Speedy and Reliable
• Preferable Restaurant and/or cafe experience
• Have minimum one year Barista experience
• Cash handling experience

This position is a Casual position –38 hours week on a rotating roster. Staring hours sometimes include early morning shift from 6:30am onwards. The rate of pay is the award rate according Restaurant Industry Award 2020.
