Role Overview

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Residential Drafter to join a small, growing design and manufacturing team. This role focuses on preparing accurate documentation and production drawings that support the delivery of modular townhouse projects.

You'll work alongside experienced designers and engineers to turn architectural intent into constructible detail. The position suits someone eager to grow their technical skills, embrace new building methods, and be part of a team redefining how homes are designed and built.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design and construction drawings using Revit
• Ensure documentation meets Rescode, SLHC, NCC, and Australian Standards
• Liaise with design, manufacturing, and site teams to resolve issues
• Manage assigned projects independently, maintaining accuracy and deadlines
• Support preparation of marketing and presentation plans where required
• Contribute ideas and feedback to refine modular design processes

Requirements

• 1–2 years' experience in residential drafting within Australia
• Tertiary qualification in drafting or architecture
• Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and compliance
• Proficiency in Revit and understanding of residential construction methods
• Experience with medium-density or townhouse projects preferred
• Interest in modular or precast construction technologies
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and confident working independently
