About the role:

The Leasing & Inspections Assistantwill be responsible for providing an exceptional experience at our rental inspections and providing support to our broader Property Management Team.  You will also play a key role in shaping and adapting how we better deliver a value added support function to our dynamic team and clients alike.

Your responsibilities:

Leasing:

  • Conduct property inspections with prospective tenants
  • Respond promptly to all leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Assist potential tenants in completing rental applications and lease agreements
  • Conduct thorough background checks and verify application information
  • Prepare and execute tenancy agreements, condition reports, and relevant documentation.
  • Provide weekly feedback and market updates to landlords during vacancy periods.

Inspections:

  • Conduct detailed ingoing, outgoing, and routine inspections with a high level of care.
  • Use inspection software to document conditions, including high-resolution photography and detailed notes.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, following up with trades and property managers as required.
  • Ensure properties are maintained to the agency's premium standard and comply with safety regulations.

General:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure landlord and tenant satisfaction
  • Keep internal systems up-to-date with all relevant leasing and inspection activity.
  • Collaborate and support the Property Management team with maintenance and administrative tasks

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Real Estate qualification is preferred
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using property management software such as Property Tree, VaultRE, Inspection Express, Bricks and Agent and Invoice Automate.
  • Current Driver's license and reliable car
  • Outstanding polished and professional communication skills
  • A team player that demonstrates initiative
  • Posses a positive, can do attitude and a warm, friendly and professional manner
  • High level of attention to detail, especially in written documentation and reporting.
  • Strong time management and organisational ability.
