We are currently seeking a licensed electrician to join our clients maintenance team at their Southern Highlands plant to perform the following work:

· Preventive maintenance on extrusion machinery and ancillary equipment

· Test and tag site equipment

· Attend to breakdowns to ensure continuous production

· Oversee mechanical operations and formulating the best diagnosis for efficient operational continuity

· Calibration of machinery including weigh scales, 0-10-volt control systems and extruders

· Project work including installation of new machinery

· Have positive input into design, planning and implementation of site improvements

REQUIREMENTS

· Current NSW Contractors licence

· Proactive self-starter to work with maintenance team and look after all electrical needs onsite

· Experience in industrial maintenance including electric motors and control drives, basic understanding of PLC operations and ability to read complex electrical diagrams to fault find.

· Mechanical aptitude to understand and assist site fitters

· Basic IT capability (Microsoft Outlook, work, excel)

· Current drivers licence

· An enthusiasm to learn new skills and develop yourself in the role

· A commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others

· Experienced supervising others
