We're looking for a compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our small, values-driven team based in the Illawarra. This position is fully remote, with all planning, documentation, and team communication completed from home. There is no central office. The role involves travel within the Illawarra regionto visit participants in their homes, schools, and communities. Applicants must reside in the Illawarra to enable local travel and continuity of support. At Swell Support Services, we provide evidence-informed, person-centred behaviour support that focuses on an individual's strengths to build capacity. We're a supportive, collaborative practice that values autonomy, professionalism and genuine connection with the people we support.

About the role:

We're seeking a Proficient-level practitioner (or above), though we'll also consider Core-level practitioners with strong experience in developing and implementing high-quality Behaviour Support Plans.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver positive behaviour support across a diverse caseload
  • Work flexibly and independently, with ongoing guidance and support
  • Work from home for all planning, documentation and meetings, with travel to visit clients across the Illawarra region as required
  • Receive regular clinical supervision from an experienced senior practitioner
  • Contribute to a small, values-aligned team that is committed to supporting participants to achieve outcomes that are meaningful to them.

What we're looking for:

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Registration under the NDIS PBS Capability Framework

Experience writing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, including Restrictive Practices

Strong understanding of evidence-informed and person-centred practice

Excellent communication and report-writing skills
