Are you a passionate and creative cook who loves working in a fast-paced kitchen? We're looking for an experienced Assistant Chef to join our friendly team at Cherrybrook, a vibrant café known for fresh, high-quality food and great coffee.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes with consistency.
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Help with stock rotation and inventory management.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Chef, Cook, or similar role (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
  • MUST be available Friday nights and Weekends.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • A team player with great communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Passion for quality food and attention to detail.
