ING Australia's ODCR team is hiring a Senior Specialist – Continuity & Resilience for a full-time position based at our Sydney office.
As the Senior Specialist – Continuity & Resilience, you'll support the delivery of ING's Continuity & Resilience Framework, helping to ensure our critical services remain available during disruption. You'll work across business and technology teams to support planning, testing, and assurance activities that strengthen ING's operational resilience.

What you'll do
- Maintain documentation and support audit readiness across reporting processes
- Support the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans and Crisis Management Plans.
- Facilitate business impact analyses, threat assessments, and continuity risk reviews.
- Assist in the coordination of testing, training, and awareness activities across the bank.
- Provide input into operational risk assessments, third-party reviews, and product launches.
- Contribute to reporting for senior risk committees and support audit readiness.
- Participate in uplift initiatives and group-wide resilience projects.
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in business, finance, legal, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years' experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, or Information Risk Management.
- Background in financial services (banking, insurance, superannuation) preferred, but strong candidates from other sectors will be considered.
- Strong MS Office skills; experience with data tools like SQL, SAS, or Tableau is highly regarded.
- Understanding of IT systems and how they support continuity frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and stakeholder engagement.
