About the role

A great opportunity has arisen in our Glendale Trade Centre Mitre10 business for an experienced Customer Service / Trade Desk Sales person. This position is store based working within our Trade team.

You will have previous sales experience using P.O.S and experience with cash handling. Your ability to build strong relationships with customers within the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role, having a passion for outstanding customer service. This role will also incorporate kitchen design and sales as well as ordering and merchandising of hardware.

What you will be doing

  • Being safe as safety is part of our everyday culture

  • Deliver excellent customer service through counter sales, quotes, delivery orders etc.

  • Goods inwards procedures

  • Stock replenishment, Adhering to store retail standards

  • Picking and packing orders

  • Designing and selling of kitchens (full training will be provided)

What you will bring

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Ability to clearly communicate to customers via phone and email

  • Ability to multi task in a dynamic fast paced trade business

  • Previous experience in a similar Counter sales / Trade Sales position

  • An understanding of the Timber & Hardware market with previous experience is desirable but not essential

  • Ability to work closely in a diverse team
