Transport and Civil Infrastructure The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit provides a range of maintenance and delivery relating to road assets, traffic management and street lighting; and infrastructure related to parking system assets. It provides timely and accurate advice and users better practice methods and procedures while developing new and innovative solutions to problems in a cost effective and environmentally sustainable manner. The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit delivers the following services:
- Maintenance & Construction of Civil Infrastructure

- Asset Management & Planning

The key focus areas of this role include:
Develop, implement, and review asset management plans overseeing regular inspections, condition assessments, revaluations and data collection for road infrastructure using asset management systems and spatial tools to ensure optimal lifecycle performance, sustainability, and alignment with Council's strategic objectives.
Prepare the necessary asset and financial reporting requirements to ensure Council is complying with ongoing statutory obligations pertaining to asset management.
Assist in the development and implementation of Capital Works program/s by actively driving the Project Lifecycle Management process to ensure assets are maintained in a serviceable condition and upgraded to meet community needs.
