1.1 Skills desired for this position:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field. 
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in agricultural consulting and/or landscaping management. 
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. 
- Strong knowledge of soil science, plant species suitable for WA climate, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscaping methods. 
- Familiarity with Australian agricultural, environmental, and landscaping regulations. 
- Ability to prepare landscape plans, technical reports, and feasibility studies. 
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills. 
- Competence in project management software (Buildertrend, SharePoint, or equivalent). 
1.2 Tasks and duties
- Conduct soil testing and analysis prior to project commencement, recommending improvement measures. 
- Inspect landscaping and agricultural works at all stages, preparing progress and inspection reports. 
- Collaborate with councils, environmental bodies, and project stakeholders to ensure compliance. 
- Prepare schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates for landscaping phases. 
- Review and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to meet sustainability standards. 
- Inspect delivered materials (plants, soil, fertilizers, irrigation equipment) for compliance and quality. 
- Utilize project management software (Buildertrend, SharePoint) to manage documentation and reporting. 
- Prepare variation order reports for changes impacting project costs or timelines. 
- Control logistics and waste management during construction phases. 
- Stay updated with new technologies and sustainable innovations in landscaping and agriculture. 
1.3 Main Accountability
- Maintain confidentiality of information and client agreements. 
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards. 
- Deliver professional advice to clients, enhancing company reputation. 
- Monitor productivity rates, comparing actual vs estimated performance to track profitability. 
- Contribute to revenue growth through efficient project delivery and sustainable practices. 
- Follow up on payments when required. 
- Train and supervise staff to ensure skills and standards are maintained. 
1.4 General Responsibilities
- Maintain professional knowledge of agricultural, environmental, and regulatory requirements. 
- Exercise sound and informed judgment in all dealings with staff, clients, and authorities. 
- Act safely and responsibly, ensuring health and safety compliance across worksites. 
- Report hazards, accidents, or incidents promptly. 
- Ensure staff receive adequate training and supervision in sustainable practices. 
- Follow company policies, procedures, and corporate governance standards. 
- Report recommended changes to systems or procedures to improve workflow. 
- Obtain and follow up all permits, licenses, and NOCs from relevant authorities. 
- Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment certificates before submission to Finance. 
- Manage budgets for agricultural and landscaping works, ensuring efficient use of resources. 
- Monitor and approve designs, plant selections, irrigation plans, and soil strategies before execution. 
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary professionals for smooth integration of green spaces into construction projects. 
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 per year
