About the role

As a Level 2 Radiographer, you will perform advanced diagnostic medical imaging across a variety of clinical specialties, using state-of-the-art radiography equipment. You will work with minimal professional direction, delivering high-quality imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and patient care. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in complex radiography and contribute to the seamless operation of our imaging services.

You will also provide professional guidance and mentorship to other radiographers, newly graduated staff, undergraduate students, and work experience participants. Additionally, you will contribute to approved research projects and departmental quality assurance programs, playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing service standards while supporting the development of the next generation of radiography professionals.

About You

You are a highly skilled and professional Radiographer who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality imaging services.

• Registered Medical Radiation Practitioner with the ability to operate diagnostic X-ray apparatus safely and competently.
• Experienced in performing complex imaging procedures, assessing patient needs, and ensuring quality outcomes.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring skills, with the ability to work independently and positively contribute to departmental change.
• Knowledgeable in radiology systems, safety and quality programs, regulatory compliance, and culturally sensitive patient care.
