About this role

This is an interesting, fast paced and diverse role assisting the modifications team through the fabrication phase, from conception and project review to completion of customers container modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft clear and concise workshop drawings for workshop and customers for all modification projects.

Create conceptual drawings in Sketchup for Quoting and Marketing purposes.

Maintain customer contact during build phase through to completion.

Assist with the estimation and quoting of fabrication works.

Ability to design, and work with customers for best solutions.

Monitoring and auditing of workshop processes

Assist in preparing and maintaining of project documents, drawings, estimates and materials.

Manage the process of purchasing materials for all modifications projects.

Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret structural drawings

Experience dealing with customers

Fabrication experience desirable

Estimating and quoting experience

A proactive team member with a problem-solving mindset.

Attention to detail and proficient time management skills for multitasking.

Strong communication skills (oral & written) including the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.

Proficient computer skills – CRM packages, Job Costing, Monday, Teams, Excel, Outlook and metals drawing packages i.e. Sketchup, CAD etc…

Manual Driver's License
