The position:

  • Managing the opening and closing of files and matters
  • Handling billing matters and managing allocation and billing of various disbursements
  • File maintenance
  • Document management and editing
  • Meeting coordination
  • Liaising with clients and other relevant stakeholders regarding case matters
  • Preparation of correspondence and various commercial documents
  • Excel spreadsheet management
  • PowerPoint presentation management

The ideal candidate:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, with previous experience working in litigation 

- Proficient in legal software, ideally relativity/eDiscovery 

- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

- A can-do attitude
