The Opportunity

We are seeking a Licenced Building Surveyor who wants to take on this amazing opportunity to join our busy Building Surveying team and further their career. The successful applicant will have a 'can do' attitude and eye for detail.

This position will encompass the following:

• Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in relation to NCC requirements, Australian standards, local laws and council policies;
• Determining and contributing to strategies to achieve the Section's goals and direction;
• Collaborating with Senior Building Surveyors and relevant administrators;
• Proactively building and maintaining customer relationships, with a view to generating new business and ongoing business;
• Communicating with clients clearly and professionally managing their expectations and being proactive to respond to their requests promptly.

• Successful candidate would have qualification/registration as a Level 2 or 3 Building Surveying Practitioner with the WA Building Commission.
• Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential.
• Experience in the construction industry including familiarity with the Building Act and Regulations, BCA and associated Australian Standards would be preferred.
