
Life Insurance Lawyer

Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
• working on a diverse range of complex litigation and advice matters across life insurance
• develop skills in insurance law and litigation;
• have regular involvement and direct contact with clients; and
• appear in various courts and tribunals including Magistrates, County and Supreme courts.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:
• an academic qualification in law, with a current VIC Practicing Certificate;
• a minimum of 2 years' PQE for an Associate and 4 years' PQE for a Senior Associate, preferably with experience in litigation; and
• excellent analytical, drafting and communication (verbal and written) skills, with superior attention to detail.
In addition, you will:
• be an enthusiastic and personable lawyer who has a passion for client service;
• have the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, as well as autonomously; and
• have a desire for personal development.
