Are you a skilled and passionate picture framer looking for a new opportunity? We are a busy and established Art Supplies shop & custom framing shop dedicated to providing high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced Picture Framer to join our friendly and professional team.

With over 30 years in the Art Supplies & Framing Industry we are seeking a fast-paced professional Picture framer who has all the necessary skills to complete all framing jobs from Start to finish. Great work environment with continuing established front of house team. We seek a person to be a self starter to take control/operate & run the Framing room.

All equipment set up and operational ready to jump in and frame.

Can Help with Relocation to Coffs Harbour for the right person.

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven Experience: You must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of custom picture framing.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with mat cutting, dry mounting, stretching canvas, shadow boxes, fillet fitting, and frame assembly (including operating chop and joiner machines). Jersey Framing & embroidery, Artefacts & more.
  • Precision and Quality: A meticulous eye for detail and a strong commitment to producing flawless, museum-quality work.
  • Materials Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide variety of framing materials, glass types, conservation techniques, and current framing trends.
  • Customer Service: Ability to occasionally assist with client consultations, advising on design, material choices, and aesthetic solutions to meet their needs.
  • Efficiency: Ability to manage workflow, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Rights: Must have Australian work rights and be legally entitled to work in Australia.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Executing all stages of the custom framing process from start to finish.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
  • Handling and caring for valuable artwork and collectibles.
  • Accurately cutting and joining moulding, cutting mats, and preparing artwork.
  • Ordering & stock management.
  • 9am -5pm M-F
