We are Smarter Air & Electrical, a rapidly expanding company specializing in split & ducted air conditioning and currently expanding into heat pumps and electrical services in South Brisbane & Gold Coast. We are looking for a full-time electrician to join our team and play a key role in driving this exciting growth.

Based in Yatala, we provide high-quality ducted air conditioning installations and are rapidly expanding to offer heat pump and electrical services to clients across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich.

We started our company in 2019 as a dedicated ducted air conditioning specialist and have built a strong reputation for quality and service. Tasks and Responsibilities

As our electrician, your regular tasks will include:

• Carrying out ducted air conditioning circuits & upgrades in residential homes
• Assisting with the installation and maintenance of heat pump systems
• Running circuits for air conditioners and heat pumps
• Switchboard Upgrades
• Smart Home Installations
• Site inspections
• Mentor & train apprentices
• Driving to jobs across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich.

Mandatory Requirements

• QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic License
• Blue/White Card
• First Aid Certificate
• Current Driver's Licence

The following licenses would also be an advantage; however, we are willing to put the successful candidate through the below if required:

• Working At Heights Certificate
• Refrigerant Handling License (for air conditioning and heat pump work
  )

Skill and Experience

Our ideal candidate will have their own tools, as well as the ability to:

• Work well in a team, as well as autonomously
• Have the ability to tolerate hot and uncomfortable working conditions such as inside roof spaces or on the roof
• Provide excellent customer service

You will be an excellent fit for this role if you are motivated, reliable and have a great work ethic. While experience – including the use of SimPRO software – is desirable, it isn't mandatory.
