We are a proud Australian-owned, family-run business with a rich history spanning over 100 years. For the past 30 years, we have been a leading wholesale supplier of bakery products. We supply delicious, quality, baked pastry and bread products to the hospitality and retail sectors 6 days a week.

Artisan sourdough breads, banana bread, muffins, light buttery croissants, baked cheesecakes, donuts, tarts, protein balls, biscuits, slices... over 600 high-quality products.

The 120 employees at Fergys are very diverse, friendly, and inclusive, with a range of ages, cultural backgrounds and talents. Due to strong growth, we are seeking to hire a warehouse operator for our Dandenong South facility.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

As the ideal candidate you would have experience in warehouse operations and processes, and experience in movement and handling of baked products.

· Experience using a forklift, and current licence

· Able to drive a truck (MR truck licence preferred)

· Pick Packing

· Receiving

· Putting away stock, efficiently and neatly

· Ensuring cleanliness and proper presentation of the warehouse area

· Dispatching of stock

· Computer literacy

· Use the inventory management system, maintaining accuracy

· Stock takes in the factory as well as the freezers

· Able to learn to place ingredient orders

· Excellent English, spoken and written

· Energetic and a can-do attitude

· A sense of humour

· Able to work well within a small team, and coordinate daily with other key staff and managers

· Physically fit and able to lift 25kg

Current Forklift and Car licence required
