About Your Role

• Assist with the communication, wellbeing and identity of Deaf or hard of hearing (HoH) students using Australian Sign Language (AUSLAN).
• You will contribute to the implementation of a quality care and education program for the allocated group of children.
• You will provide support where children experience difficulties in communication using AUSLAN.

About You:

• Confident in supporting educational programs tailored to individual and group needs.
• Skilled in delivering engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
• Uses positive guidance to promote empathy, care, and respect.
• Proactive and responsible, with a strong focus on safety and wellbeing.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Certificate III in Early Childhood (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) and at least Certificate III in Auslan.
• Knowledge of Early Years Learning, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline, and National Quality Standards.
• Blue Card (Child Related Employment)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
