We are seeking motivated and skilled Graduate Structural Engineers to join our team. Based in either our Melbourne or Brisbane office, the successful candidates will be working in a team of Engineers and Inspectors, delivering civil asset renewal and maintenance projects in the Rail, Road, and Mining sectors throughout Australia.

These roles include a mix of office and field-based work, structural design, condition assessment, technology-led solutions, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs entry level engineering analysis, design, planning, review, and inspection for small projects and/or designated segments of larger complex projects.
  • Prepares and details sketches and engineering documentation using AutoCAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Applies professional engineering concepts, principles, practices and methods to perform a broad range of engineering activities.
  • As site engineer for minor works/standard infrastructure, reads and interprets construction drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate engineering records are maintained and construction is delivered according to design.
  • Identifies and escalates engineering issues for resolution where they arise.
  • Develops Inspection and Test Plans for simple construction situations.
  • Asset assessment and management
  • Level 2 and Level 3 Inspections (around Australia)

Skills and Attributes

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Current drivers licence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A passion for technology-led solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
