Veterinary Nurse

Dreamworld Life Sciences is one of the largest native wildlife parks in South East Queensland, home to hundreds of animals, including the second-largest koala population, endangered species and some of the biggest and best thrill rides on the planet, our worlds present a unique and diverse opportunity to welcome a qualified and experienced part-time Veterinary Nurse to provide effective leadership, management, and support for our Life Sciences team in the next exciting phase of our journey.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering daily animal care across hospital, quarantine, and keeper environments
• Performing veterinary nursing for a variety of native and exotic animals
• Maintaining accurate records and managing veterinary resources
• Carrying out physically demanding tasks, including animal handling and husbandry

What we're looking for:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years paid experience in a veterinary clinic
• Skilled in handling and caring for Australian wildlife
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Manual driver's licence and Q-Fever vaccination

Flexibility with a 7-day roster, (including weekends) is essential.
