As an Engineering Technologist you will work as part of our commissioning team they will responsible for assisting the Commissioning Manager in ensuring that project MEP equipment and facilities are correctly installed and operating in accordance with the equipment and project specifications. The Engineer will utilize commissioning method statements and test records sheets to ensure that equipment and facilities undergo the correct testing and commissioning processes in line with industry standards and to confirm that all commissioning activities are correctly recorded, tracked and documented.

The key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Perform tasks as directed by the senior staff on site,

Assist with appraisal of design and development/ shop drawing and specifications

Oversee specialist engineering tasks such as design drafting, estimating and operations control

Maintain all site and office hard and soft copy drawing and test results documentation

Modifying established practices electronic engineering practices

Assist with reviews or contractor/manufacturer response method statements

Assist with commissioning schedule and tracking sheet updates

Review and comment as necessary on the contractor's completed commissioning records

Test and evaluate construction materials and techniques

Witness contractor's testing and commissioning results and confirm compliance

Assist in developing tests scripts for projects

Outline work programs and review for accuracy

Participate and host commissioning meeting

Provide marketing support advice where needed

Assist with commissioning status reports throughout the project

Review O&M Manual prior to the client's system takeover

Planning, supervising and coordinating the work of others

Facilitate vendor training for client's acceptance

Qualifications Required

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or

Electrical or Mechanical Certificate with at least 2 years on-site experience

Pay: $74,000.00 – $108,000.00 per year
