This award-winning, ASX listed R&D group dominates the world in its industry sector and is looking for a talented DevOps manager with expert skills in Linux, networking and cloud engineering.

Responsibilities include designing, supporting and optimising LAN, WAN, SD-WAN and WIFI networks; implementing and managing on-premise hybrid hosting platforms; working closely with software engineering teams to implement and maintain cloud (AWS) platforms to support the development of industry-leading SaaS and PaaS applications; and managing a small team of DevOps/SRE engineers.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A strong Linux background
  • Experience managing AWS cloud platforms, transitioning products to the cloud
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SDWAN and hybrid hosting environments
  • Advanced knowledge of IP network design and implementation
  • Strong experience with virtualisation, containerisation, orchestration, CI/CD systems, monitoring, tooling, scripting (e.g., Python, JS, Typescript, Go, shell), IaC practices
  • Cybersecurity experience
  • Superior communication and problem solving skills
  • Team leadership experience
  • A computer science or equivalent degree
