Graduate Dental Technician opportunity in a full-service lab
Kick-start your career as a Graduate Dental Technician (HP2) in a temporary full-time 12-month role with Metro South Oral Health. This structured graduate position supports your transition to independent practice through supervised skill development in the construction of fixed and removable dental appliances within a collaborative, full-service dental laboratory.
Your New Role
In this graduate role, you will develop technical skills in dental appliance construction while working under the supervision of experienced practitioners. You'll contribute to team-based treatment planning, support high-quality dental technical services and participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

You Will

• Perform routine dental technical duties under supervision
• Assist with model casting and construction of full and partial dentures
• Support design and construction of fixed, removable and orthodontic appliances
• Contribute to team-based treatment planning with clinicians and supervisors
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary oral health team

About you:
You are a motivated graduate dental technician who is keen to learn, develop practical skills and contribute positively to a team-based laboratory environment.

• Diploma (or equivalent) qualification in Dental Technology
• Interest in developing skills across a full-service dental laboratory
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
