Oasis @ Newman is a privately owned accommodation facility conveniently located just 7kms south of Newman in Western Australia. Newman is the Gateway to the Real Outback and is a short distance to world famous attractions, including Karijini National Park, Carawine Gorge and historical Indigenous sites.

Oasis boasts approximately 8500 rooms, resort-style swimming pool, dining room, gym, al fresco and recreation room.

Job Description:

Commercial Housekeepers perform cleaning and housekeeping duties in hotels, motels, resorts, and other commercial premises. Their work ensures a clean, comfortable, and hygienic environment for guests and staff.

Typical Duties Include:

  • Cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping floors
  • Making beds and changing bed linen
  • Restocking minibars and bathroom supplies
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Emptying garbage containers and disposing of waste
  • Maintaining kitchens, washing dishes and utensils
  • Cleaning appliances, cupboards, counters, and pantries
  • Washing, drying, ironing, and mending linen and clothes
  • Preparing and cooking meals (in some cases)
  • Setting and clearing tables, serving food and beverages
  • Taking care of household pets and plants (if applicable)
  • Receiving visitors, answering phones, and shopping for groceries
