We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing architectural drawings, plans and technical documentation that integrate bespoke metalwork into building designs.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings and detailed plans using CAD (SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD), ensuring alignment with architectural intent and compliance with building codes and standards.
• Develop detailed shop drawings for custom façades, staircases, balustrades, partitions, and decorative metal structures.
• Translate architectural - design concepts into accurate, fabrication-ready documentation, including dimensions, tolerances, materials, and finishes.
• Collaborate with architects, builders, and artisan metalworkers to ensure structural feasibility and seamless integration into overall building projects.
• Apply knowledge of architectural detailing, metallurgy, and fabrication processes to optimise design quality and efficiency.
• Ensure that all documentation meets internal quality assurance standards and project deadlines.
• Revise and adapt drawings based on client, architect, or production feedback.

Minimum Requirements

• Formal qualification in Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, Revit preferred).
• At least two years of professional experience in drafting for architectural metalwork, façades, or related building design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex architectural briefs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a design and production team.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
