About the role

If you're confident behind the wheel of a truck and dog or semi tipper and take pride in safe, efficient work, we want you on our team. We're on the lookout for experienced drivers ready to take on some of South Australia's most exciting infrastructure projects — from busy metro works to large-scale regional jobs.

This is a full-time role where every day brings something different. Whether you're a seasoned operator or looking to build on your driving experience in civil construction, we'll provide the support, training, and opportunities to help you succeed.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate truck and dog or semi tipper combinations for bulk haulage of quarry materials, spoil, and other civil products
  • Safely load, transport, and tip materials to designated sites, following schedules and instructions
  • Complete daily pre-start inspections and keep accurate maintenance and logbook records
  • Work closely with plant operators, site supervisors, and other drivers to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain compliance with all WHS procedures, fatigue management, and road safety regulations
  • Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-presented at all times
  • Assist with general site and yard duties when required

What we're looking for

  • Construction Induction Certificate (White Card – essential, or willing to obtain before hire)
  • Current MC or HC licence
  • Proven experience operating truck and dog or semi tipper combinations in a civil or quarry environment (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of load restraint, safe tipping practices, and road safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and reliability to meet project schedules
  • Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites, including regional locations
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
