Who are we?

Martel Electrical Solutions is a growing family-owned electrical and air conditioning business servicing the northern suburbs of Brisbane. We are looking for a qualified electrician to perform a variety of work ranging from residential maintenance and renovations, real estate and aged care electrical work, air conditioning installations and more. We are seeking an enthusiastic qualified electrical tradesman to join the team.

At Martel Electrical you will work in a great team environment with an apprentice and another tradesman. No two days are the same with an organised schedule of work using Simpro management system. You will have great customer service skills, be well presented and demonstrate the ability to liaise with a variety of customers on a daily basis to assist them with their electrical needs. There are plenty of opportunities for you to grow with the company and develop further skills ranging from electric vehicle chargers to home automation.

What are we looking for?

  • Current Qld Electrical Licence
  • Current QLD Manual Drivers Licence
  • Up to date Low Voltage Rescue and CPR accreditation
  • Knowledge of AS3000, and QEMM and QECM
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and time management skills

Responsibilities/Task:

  • Day to day residential maintenance work
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
  • Stock ordering for upcoming work
  • Liaise with other trades on projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and data cabling issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used in Simpro
  • Train apprentices to our standards
