The Role

We are seeking a motivated Analyst, Execution Services to join our Investment Operations team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to front office trading activities, executing Domestic and International Equity, FX, and Fixed Income trades on behalf of clients. Unlike traditional back-office positions, this role involves managing significantly more complex and high-risk transactions, requiring strong judgment, precision, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As part of the Execution Services team, you will ensure trades are executed and booked accurately, resolve settlement issues, and deliver outstanding client service. You will also collaborate across internal teams, brokers, and external counterparties while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute client trades across Equity, FX and Fixed Income, ensuring best execution.
  • Accurately book and allocate trades across client portfolios.
  • Oversee and resolve trade settlement issues.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks.
  • Manage queries from brokers, clients, and counterparties.
  • Contribute to projects and escalate issues where required.

Desired Experience and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and the trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with IRESS highly regarded.
  • 1–3 years' experience in Investment Operations, Custody, or wrap platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, large data sets).
  • Experience dealing directly with clients on their trade requests.
  • Proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Finance or related field (preferred).
