Funeral Director

An opportunity has arisen for compassionate professionals to join the team at Premier Funerals, Oxley as one of our long term staff is leaving to enjoy the fruits of retirement.

We are looking for a Funeral Director or Funeral Assistant .

The dedicated team of funeral professionals at Premier Funerals are committed to serving each and every family with dignity and respect.

Applicants should have the following attributes

• Be well presented, punctual and prepared to assist in all areas of the business
• Possess great inter-personal skills, and be sensitive and caring to assist grieving people
• Great organisational skills and a positive attitude to manage demanding workloads
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing situations with a calm & professional manner
• Have an exceptional eye for detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills are required
• Strong administration skills to manage workload
• Have the capacity to be at ease with handling deceased persons
• Be capable of performing physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting as required
• Availability for rostered weekend and after hours work as required
• A current QLD driver's license

Experience within the industry is preferred, however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
