*The Role An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Older Persons Mental Health Community) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Deliver high level clinical services in accordance with professional standards including the Australia Psychologist Society Code of EthicsProvide high level clinical psychology services including psychological assessment, complex case formulation, and clinical interventions that support in the care of case managed consumersManage a case load of consumers to access outpatient psychotherapy or other psychological care including consultancy service for treating teams relating to older people with challenging behavioursUtilise independent clinical reasoning and professional judgement requiring minimum supervision in the selection of appropriate psychological treatments, psychometric measures and preparation of psychological reports and high-level recommendation.
