The Opportunity
Our Distribution and Service Centre is looking for a Team Member (General Transport Operator) in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.
Our Team Members support our logistics & warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers. Working in a dynamic team environment, you will provide collaborative approach to a range of tasks such as the loading and unloading of trucks and rail, machine operation, scheduling, load marking and a variety of work that is both rewarding and fun.
The working hours for this exciting opportunity are Monday to Friday dayshift hours with overtime eligibility.

What Will You Do?
Suggest and implement in continuous improvement ideas, identify safety issues and corrective actions and contribute to delivering our business plan activities and projects. This role will see you:
- safely picking, loading and unloading our products from trucks and rail
- operate gantry cranes, forklifts and processing machinery
- be responsible for receiving and storing materials, picking and loading orders and other dispatch duties
