Active Envelopes are a leading custom envelope manufacturer and offset envelope printer, based in Dandenong South, Victoria.

We are providing services to major industries that include but are not limited to retailing markets, advertising agencies, mailing houses, stationers, banks, schools, greeting card companies etc.

We are looking for an Envelope Die Cutter to join our manufacturing team to set up, maintain and operate die cutting machinery, who can ensure the interminable and efficient running of production by die-cutting envelope shapes from paper as per required specifications.

The Roles and responsibilities include:

• Operate envelope paper die-cutting machinery to cut paper into envelope shapes based on specified dimensions using a metal die.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
• Maintaining and checking production and error register.
• Running maintenance on the machine in a timely manner as needed.
• Perform quality checks while running the machine.
• Adjust machinery as necessary to correct production issues.
• Ensuring process steps, quality standards and records of production are met as per Active Envelopes standards.
• Show a collaborative approach to working with others and welcoming changes.
• Assisting with packing orders as needed.
• Assisting with receiving and dispatching goods from the warehouse.
• Storekeeping of the warehouse as needed.
• Ensuring timely dispatch of the orders.
• Reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety stand reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.

Pre-Requisites:

• Previous paper die-cutting is preferred but not mandatory - training can be provided.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
• Basic knowledge about tools and working of machines is required.
• Should have experience with packing.
• Able to work overtime when required.
