Company Description

At Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen, our mission has always been to reinvent fast-food. We're Australia's only fast-food restaurant to be 100% clean, meaning there are no added preservatives, artificial flavours, added colours or unacceptable additives in our food. Job Description

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a diverse range of projects across Guzman y Gomez. This role ensures all initiatives are completed within defined scope, timeline, and budget—delivering real impact across key business areas including People, Operations, and Sustainability.

You'll oversee the full project lifecycle—from initial conception through to seamless transition into operations—ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering high-quality, sustainable results.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

What you can expect in the role

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations through effective governance and reporting.
  • Take end-to-end accountability for project delivery across all phases.
  • Motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and review project scopes and plans, proactively manage risks and issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring financial alignment and stakeholder-approved scope changes.
  • Drive communication, engagement, and training plans to support successful adoption and integration of project outcomes.

You'll thrive in this role if you have

  • 3–5 years of project management experience delivering outcomes across diverse industries or functional areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and pivot as needed.
  • Relevant project management certification(s) and knowledge of key methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, with confidence engaging across all organisational levels.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive results and overcome challenges.
  • An appreciation for effective change management as a critical component of project success.

Benefits

We're incredibly proud of our amazing people and always have each other's backs. Whether you're working in restaurant, at our Hola Central head office or as one of our partners, we are so passionate about living our values every single day.
