Our client, a leading name in Defence and engineering services, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Defence leader to join their senior leadership team in Melbourne. This is a rare opportunity to play a critical role in shaping and delivering complex projects while driving strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategy and business development initiatives, including early capture planning
  • Drive account growth through new business opportunities and scope expansion
  • Oversee project performance, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule targets are met
  • Manage key client relationships, particularly with CASG, to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Take full accountability for program financials, risks, and delivery excellence
  • Ensure internal teams meet company standards and compliance across all projects
About You:
  • Background in Defence with strong experience in business development and project delivery
  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, business, or related fields
  • In-depth understanding of CASG and Defence procurement frameworks
  • Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Hold (or be eligible to hold) NV1 security clearance or higher
