• Expected salary: $30 - $39 per hour

We are looking for a legend with a positive attitude, attention to detail who loves a sense of community and connection.

The role is fairly straight forward but rewarding and in a wonderful environment as part of a larger wellness centre on Elwood beach.

Hospitality is not rocket science but it does require attention to detail, sticking to systems, remaining calm and cool when rushes come and an ability to communicate well about what is needed to support the role as the weather changes etc.

Progression is available however it will only be offered to the correct candidate.

The cafe team also all get trained around the centre and know how to bring clients in for sauna's and other services outside the cafe.

We are not a place of hierarchy. You will see the owners jump on dishes and emptying bins when we are busy. We work as a team and we have each others backs.

This is a rare and wonderful opportunity to work in a positive environment down on Elwood Foreshore as part of a larger centre which incorporates Yoga, resistance training,, Infrared Saunas, Massage, Cold Therapy and Recovery (inversion tables etc), Sound Healings… all kinds of things

We aim to make sure our staff have at least 1 day of the weekend off and 2 consecutive days off however this is not always possible due to the nature of hospitality. An enthusiastic and supportive attitude is an absolute must.

In this role you are expected to:

• Take care of the people on your team

• Note when stock is low & in need of ordering

• Minimise Waste

• Nurture the customer experience

• Keep the cafe area clean & tidy

• Lias with the owner about any improvements that can be made to optimise sales and customer experience.

• Present food/drinks with pride, love and care. Serve as you would want to be served

• Assist when necessary in accomodating wellness centre members into wellness services such as sauna's, massage chair, smudging etc.

• Meet daily KPI's & inspire team to do the same
