About the role

The Blades Barber Hobart is seeking an experienced Barber/Hairdresser to join our team in our Hobart-based salon. This full-time role will see you providing high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services to our valued clientele. Candidates with the right to live and work in Australia will be strongly preferred.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional haircuts, styling, and grooming services to clients
  • Ensuring a professional, friendly, and welcoming experience for all customers
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked work area
  • Recommending and selling retail hair products to clients
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest hairstyles, trends, and techniques
  • Contributing to the overall success and growth of the salon

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualification in hairdressing or barbering
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Barber/Hairdresser in a professional salon environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a premium grooming experience
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for detail
  • Passionate about the latest hairstyles, trends, and techniques
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
