Based onsite at Salisbury, Brisbane, you'll draw on your mechanical engineering knowledge and enthusiasm for learning to contribute to project design, planning, and execution, ensuring outcomes meet M2P's high standards. Most importantly, you will be supported by a down-to-earth team of leaders, experts and reliable, hard-working people who step up for you.You'll make an impact by:Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of projectsSupporting the Engineering team with preparation of project documentation, including tender documents, scope of works, and design drawing packagesProduction planning and coordination of fabrication packages across our workshopsWorking closely with production to maximise utilisation of automated robot welding and CNC beamline equipmentDeveloping work packs, including the creation, compilation, and review of technical and quality documents requiredLiaising with clients, internal teams, suppliers, and sub-contractors as requiredProviding input into daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, as well as project claimsAssisting with technical planning input into project schedules and ensuring milestones are met by engaging with all key stakeholdersWhat you'll bringTo succeed in this role, you will have:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringStrong understanding of mechanical design principlesProficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsEnthusiasm for learning and developing practical skillsIdeally, you will also have:Previous internship or work experience in mechanical engineering projectsExposure to mining, industrial, or marine engineering environmentsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsExperience supporting project documentation, fabrication planning, and client liaisonA flexible, can-do attitudeWhy M2P Engineering?We've come a long way since starting out in 2017.Right from the beginning, we brought a different approach to engineering construction in the mining, industrial and marine sectors.
