What You'll Be Doing:
- Take Command of a Section: Help with all aspects of food preparation, cooking and service, ensuring every dish is a masterpiece.
- Innovate and Inspire: Be involved with the development of creative dishes while perfecting existing favourites, ensuring a diverse and exciting menu for our guests.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to the refinement of dishes maintaining top-tier presentation and flavour in every bite.
- Team Leadership: Support other kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Safety and Standards: Champion safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work Closely with Leadership: Communicate regularly with the Head Chef to keep operations running smoothly and resolve any issues promptly
- Team Coordination: Ensure the procedures are followed including log in and out of the Deputy system for shifts and breaks.

Key Responsibilities – Chef
- Food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, ensuring high quality and consistency while determining appropriate portion sizes;
- Ensures that food is stored, prepared and secured hygienically and safely;
- Assists in maintaining standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchens and related areas;
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards;
- Creativity to re-vamp our menu from time to time;
- Maintain a high standard of quality control of all goods and cost control
- Supervise kitchen staff;
- Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies;
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions and work with minimal supervision;
Minimum Requirements for the Chef position:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Chef position.
- Qualifications: Commercial Cookery and Hospitality Management certification or equivalent.
- Work Rights: Must have Australian work rights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,000.00 – $77,000.00 per year
