Are you a seasoned Data Center professional with a passion for technical excellence, team leadership, and building a thriving workplace culture? We're seeking a dynamic Data Center Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team of 50 staff, including 4 experienced supervisors, across five interconnected data centers located in Alexandria and Mascot—Australia's largest campus cluster.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations across five data centers within close proximity.
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to a team of 50, including 4 supervisors.
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Oversee infrastructure performance, uptime, and capacity planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operational workflows and service delivery.
- Mentor and develop team members through structured training and career development programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data center operations with broader business goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee maintenance contracts and service level agreements.
Key Skills, Attributes & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale data center operations, preferably across multiple sites.
- Strong technical expertise in data center infrastructure, systems, and network operations.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills with a track record of team development.
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and operational risk management.
- Relevant qualifications in IT, Engineering, or Data Center Management.
- Certifications such as ITIL, Uptime Institute, or similar are highly desirable
